MUSIC MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
SAINT ROSE OF LIMA ADULT CHOIR - SATB choir open to men, women & teens (grades 9+). The choir sings at weekend liturgies, rotating between the Saturday 4:30pm & Sunday 10am from September-May. The choir sings a variety of styles: classical, traditional, contemporary, gospel, etc. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7:30pm in church.

FUNERAL SCHOLA - open to anyone available to sing at funerals. A very flexible group, you can sing as often, or as little, as your schedule permits. Rehearsals are the 2nd Monday of each month, September - May at 8:45am and 1/2 hour before funerals.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR -open to boys and girls of the parish, grades 2-6. The choir usually sings at 10:00 liturgy once a month from September - April; the Children’s Choir also sings at special liturgies throughout the year and also at times sings with the Teen Choir. Rehearsals are Monday evenings at 5:30pm - 6:10pm in church.

TEEN MUSICIANS– Teen Choir open to singers & instrumentalists grades 7 - 12.
Rehearsals are on Monday evening from 6:15pm - 7pm in the church.

SAINT ROSE ADULT BELL CHOIR - We are looking for experienced musicians & /or experienced bell ringers. The bell choir plays at a variety of liturgies throughout the year. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:15pm in church.

MULTI-AGED BELL CHOIR- open to adults & youth - grades 7 and older that have musical background, (background in ringing bells not necessary). The choir plays at a variety of liturgies. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings 6:15 - 7pm in church.

YOUTH HANDBELL CHOIR - Open to youth of the parish, grades 5 and older who would like to learn to play handbells, rehearsals begin in October, Thursdays from 5:30pm - 6:10pm in church. No audition required.

INSTRUMENTALIST- If you have played an instrument for at least 5 years, we are interested. You can play as often, or as little, as you desire. Any and all instruments welcome.
KEYBOARD - Open to experienced keyboard players who are interested in volunteering to play the electronic, digital keyboard at weekend liturgies along with our organist. You can play as often, or as little as your schedule permits. CANTORS

Hear the story told in a fresh way, with a "folk" flavor.
You will hear distinct Appalachian, Irish, Latin, Cajun, and Early American musical flavors
with a little "blue grass" orchestration.

No ticket necessary - There will be a free will offering for Holy Hammers, the Habitat For Humanity group co-sponsored by Corpus Christi and Saint Rose of Lima.
