Friends of the Orphans
Friends of the Oprhans supports the work of Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (Our Little Brothers and Sisters).  NPH was founded by Fr. William Wasson in 1955 with the first home in Mexico.  Currently there are nine homes serving over 3,000 children in Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Bolivia.  Special attention is currently focused on the needs in Haiti. 

Changes in the Mass
The new English translation of the Roman Missal has been approved.  The date to start using the new Roman Missal will be the First Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011.  The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has set up a website for you to get an idea of the coming changes.
