Whether you are interested in becoming Catholic, want to get caught up on the sacraments, or you just want a refresher on the foundations of the Catholic faith, this is the place for you! Saint Rose is a great place for people of all kinds to dive deeper into the Catholic faith, no matter what your starting point might be.
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is traditionally a process of welcoming non-baptized adults, or adults baptized in another faith tradition, into our Catholic family. It is a time of inquiry, learning, prayer, and community. The order is also an opportunity for baptized Catholics who wish to prepare for Confirmation, Eucharist, and Reconciliation, to do so at the pace that's right for them. Furthermore, since this process examines all significant aspects of the Catholic faith and creates an environment for asking questions and learning the fundamentals, it is also a great place for lifetime Catholics to revisit some of the most essential parts of the faith and renew their understanding.
For the 2023-24 preparation year, all "Exploring Catholicism (OCIA)" sessions will meet at the Saint Rose of Lima Parish Center, located at 2048 Hamline Avenue, Roseville.
"Exploring Catholicism (OCIA)" meets on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM- to 8:00 PM at Saint Rose of Lima in the Church Nazareth Room. Alternate times can be arranged.
