About Us
Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School is a Prekindergarten through 8th grade parish school located in the first ring suburb of Roseville Minnesota. We are affiliated with the Catholic Archdiocecse of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. We currently have 294 students starting with our 3 year old prekindergartens. Our fully accredited program offers a standards based curriculum including spanish language instruction at the middle school level (6-8), band (4-8) and art, liturgical music, physical education, library and technology education at all grade levels.
Our instructional staff are all licensed by the State of Minnesota for their grade level and/or content area. Many of our teachers carry advanced degrees in education.
Religion is integrated throughout the curriculum and specifically taught as a subject every day to all classes. Our students also actively participate in weekly liturgies and prayer liturgies.
We assess both our programs and our students annuallu using the Metropolitan Achieve Test 8, (MAT 8) and the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT). Our students regularly score in the top quartile in each of these assessments.
We are accredited through the Minnesota Non-public School Accrediting Association (MNSAA) annually.
